Main advantages:

  • It is designed for outward and inward grinding of cylindrical, conic and face surfaces in chuck and in centres.
  • Machine has manual and automatic control from master controller
  • Machine has arrangement with traveling table on which the machined part is installed and with traveling of wheel head perpendicularly to the axis of centres relative to machined part. Basing of machined parts is produced in centres of headstock and tailstock or in a chuck.
  • Working zone of grinding is enclosed by protection of open type, the front wall of protection has a movable opening door with plexiglass.
  • Work head and tailstock are fastened on the top working surface of movable table.   Traveling of wheel head is realized over linear roller guide ways by means of ball- screw gear. Work head  has the possibility of manual turn on angle 90º, wheel head has two spindles for outward and inward grinding, also it has the opportunity of manual turn on angle ±30º. Internal grinding spindle is rotary. Upper table has a possibility of turn on angle (3º clockwise and -3º anticlockwise) and based onto lower table which in its turn travels along bed slide guide ways.
  • Dressing of periphery and face of grinding wheel is realized by means of dresser diamond of dressing mechanism, installed on the upper table at the expense of table longitudinal travel and grinding wheel cross travel (linear interpolation over two coordinates).
  • Hydraulic equipment is executed as a separate unit and is installed behind of the machine, and cooling system is to the left. Electric cabinet is located to the right of the machine.
  • In front of the machine on electric cabinet the integrated control panel with operator’s panel of the firm “Siemens” and machine panel with electronic handwheels, joystick and control push-buttons is installed.
  • Coolant-lubricant on water base is used during grinding, coolant treatment is realized by magnetic separator and filter–conveyor. Coolant-lubricant is fed to the machining zone under pressure is Р = 2 atmospheres, pump productivity is Q = 30 l/min.
  • Contactless sensors of the firm “Balluff”.
  • Low voltage equipment of the firm “Siemens”.
  • Converters of linear travels of the firm “Fagor” are used as feedback.

Kinematics of machine provides the following travels:

  • rotation of circular grinding spindle (axis Sp);
  • cross travel of wheel head (coordinate X);
  • longitudinal travel of table (coordinate Z);
  • rotation of machined part (axis Sp1);
  • rotation of internal grinding spindle (axis Sp2).
