Main advantages:

  • Designed for outward grinding by abrasive or CBN wheels of outside diameters and adjacent to them faces and also grinding of inside holes, cylindrical, conic and face surfaces on parts type shaft, bushing, axle, flange, cover and etc.
  • Machine is equipped with control system on the basis of controller SIMATIK S7-1200 of the firm “Siemens” with servo drives Sinamics.
  • Field of use is the enterprises of production chain and small branch production.

Kinematics of the machine provides the following travels:

  • rotation of machined part (axis Sp1);
  • rotation of grinding wheel (Sp2);
  • rotation of grinding wheel of internal grinding spindle (Sp3);
  • cross travel of wheelhead (coordinate X);
  • longitudinal travel of table (coordinate Z);
  • turn of headstock onto preset angle manually;
  • turn of upper table onto preset angle manually.

Design advantages:

  • Machine has cast basic parts (bed, base, lower table, upper table, headstock, tailstock, wheelhead).
  • Machined parts basing is produced in centres of headstock and tailstock or in three-jaw chuck of headstock. Use of work rests is possible.
  • The machine has an arrangement with traveling table on which the headstock (leading one) with installed machined part and tailstock are installed.
  • Wheelhead travels perpendicularly to the machined part centres axis.
  • Work head with electric drive and tailstock are fastened on top working surface of movable table. Cross travel of wheelhead is realized over linear bearing by means of ball-screw transmission.
  • Wheelhead has two spindles for outward and internal grinding.
  • Rotary internal grinding spindle is installed in front on the wheelhead body. Wheelhead has the opportunity of manual turn in horizontal planer.
  • Upper table has the opportunity of turning and is based onto the lower table which in its turn travels along sliding guide ways of bed.
  • Dressing of main drive grinding wheel periphery and of internal wheelhead grinding wheel is realized by means of dresser diamond at the expense of table longitudinal travel and grinding wheel cross travel.
  • Hydraulic equipment is executed as a separate unit and installed behind the machine and the cooling system is to the left. Electric cabinet is located to the right of machine.
  • Control panel with operator’s panel of the firm “Siemens” and machine panel with electronic handwheels, joystick and control buttons are installed in front of machine on bed, handwheels are installed for machining the outward and inward surfaces of bodies of revolution manually.
